Who We Are

LeaderImpacttm has been inspiring and developing leaders for decades. In over 300 cities spanning the globe, we are a community of peers intentional about making a difference in the world by becoming better people and better professionals in all aspects of our lives.

Imagine leaders everywhere living life to the fullest: using their influence, affluence, skills and time to make a meaningful difference in their homes, at work, in their cities and around the world. What if their relationship with God and with others was genuine, authentic, loyal, and caring? The true impact they would have would be astounding.

LeaderImpacttm is designed for leaders who genuinely want to make a difference and are willing to commit the time, energy and resources to make it happen.

Three Ways to Become Connected

LeaderImpacttm Forums

Twice a year, leaders around Chicago convene to hear from one of their peers who have or are navigating through a uniquely challenging leadership issue. Speakers are selected who can impart wisdom that all leaders can use in their daily life.

Serving In The City and

around the world

LeaderImpact members make a difference in Chicago and have the opportunity to use their leadership throughout the world. With over 300 LeaderImpact groups around the world, we collaborate with other groups to grow together and to serve each other through unique opportunities here in Chicago or internationally.

LEADERIMPACTtm Groups

LeaderImpact groups meet weekly throughout the Chicago area. These groups, some of which have operated for over 25 years, are the boiler room for our development as leaders and an incubator for our faith in God. These groups are intended for anyone who wants to take their leadership development seriously and are curious about beginning, developing or integrating their faith with their leadership.

Great Leadership

Never Gives Up

LeaderImpacttm Forum: Friday, March 8, 2019, 6:00pm (Dinner)

On the night of May 7, 2007 upon returning from a memorial service for two of his brigade soldiers in Iraq an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack cost Greg Gadson both legs above the knees and normal use of his right arm and hand.

Despite this, Gadson remained on active duty in the Army, overcoming incredible odds during his rehabilitation. His perseverance ultimately resulted in an assignment post rehabilitation as Garrison Commander of Fort Belvoir, Va. where he oversaw more than 50,000 military personnel.

Col. Gadson is the epitome of leadership that perseveres amidst facing tremendous personal challenge.

Cru Chicago believes no marketplace leader should go through life alone. We aim to connect marketplace leaders to each other and - together - we explore our faith in God and how we can lead better at home, in the workplace, and throughout our communities.

Meetings amongst marketplace leaders take place weekly in over 10 locations around the Chicago area. We also work to connect leaders to other like-minded groups that share the same philosophy that good leaders should never lead from an island.

What to expect in a LeaderImpacttm Group

Each leadership group has a unique DNA based on its leader and its members.  Group size ranges from 8 to 40, and most meet weekly on weekday mornings.

Across all groups, we strive to teach sound leadership based on the biblical principles, but participants need not have any prior Bible knowledge whatsoever.  These groups dig deep into life issues, personal challenges and its more the norm for group members to develop lasting friendships outside of the group.

If you are in the marketplace and you desire to grow in your faith, we urge you to be connected to others who desire the same thing, whether it is in one of our groups or another.

Ways we serve

Whenever one grows in their faith in God, a natural result is a desire to serve others, the community and even those around the world.  Listed below is a list of organizations that our members are involved in, giving their time, talents and resources to help grow. In our groups,we take the time to learn about our members' passion and how they make a difference in the world we live in.

This list is growing, and is updated with increased awareness and involvement.
